How does the H-PAD Alarm work?

The H-PAD Alarm comes with a transmitter that, when pressed, activates a silent alarm. Once, the alarm is activated our monitoring center will dispatch your local police to your location. This all happens within seconds.

What is included in the cost?

The H-PAD Alarm comes with a console, which is connected to your existing phone line, and two transmitters.

What type of transmitters are available?

The H-PAD comes with two transmitters of your choice, either a wristband style or necklace style transmitter are available.

Do I have to sign a long term agreement?

No, you do not have to sign a long term agreement. Our agreement goes month to month, there is no minimum term requirement and you may cancel anytime you'd like with absolutely no hassles.

What is the cost?

The H-PAD Alarm is just $29.95 per month and your rate will never increase. You pay only for the monitoring of your H-PAD Alarm, the equipment is included as part of the service. If you cancel you simply return the equipment.

What is the one time set-up fee?

The one time set-up fee is just $45.00 and includes the set-up and testing of your H-PAD Alarm system. Because the H-PAD Alarm is a silent alarm it is important to have a trained representative test the alarm with you the first time so you understand how it works.

Do I need any special equipment?

The H-PAD Alarm only requires a standard POTS (plain old telephone service) line in order to work. This line can not use VoIP technology or have bundled digital services. Most businesses have POTS line reserved for their faxes, this line can be used for the H-PAD. Most homeowners already have POTS lines or can easily have one for their H-PAD Alarm to work properly.

Who do you call when the alarm has been activated?

When you activate your H-PAD Alarm our monitoring center will dispatch your local police.

What happens if I accidentally activate the alarm?

If you accidentally set off the alarm you will need to contact our monitoring center and verify that it is a false alarm. There is a verification process you must go through before we will cancel an alarm and that procedure will only be reviewed with you and/or your key employees during the set-up of your alarm.

What do you mean by silent alarm?

The H-PAD Alarm does not make any noise when activated. The silence allows you to alert us to a problem without alerting an intruder that an alarm has been activated. We believe this is important to keep intruders from becoming panicked or enraged.

What is the range of the H-PAD Alarm?

The H-PAD Alarm will work anywhere within your home or business and up to 2 to 300 feet outside. The range is tested during the set-up of your H-PAD Alarm.
